Cheat menu Rating: Pending  
Enter the options menu and select "Gameplay". Hold D-pad Left + Left Analog-stick Right and press Start. The "Codes" selection will now be unlocked at the options menu.

Bonus teams Rating: Pending  
Enter MEGASTARS as a case-sensitive code to unlock the Sega Sports, Visual Concepts, and Team 2K2 in exhibition and street modes.

Intentional fouls Rating: Pending  
When you are down by a few points, press L1 + R2 to call the defense to create an intentional foul. Use this as a strategy to try and tie the score to go to overtime, assuming the opponent will miss the free throws.

Easy three pointers Rating: Pending  
Choose Allen Iverson and go to the left side of the court near the corner. If a defender is checking you, upfake. When he flies away trying to block your shot, shoot the three pointer. The release must be excellent. After shooting two or three of them, he will become hot.

Get R. Miller (Pacers), Iverson (Sixers), Vince Carter or Glen Rice (NY) on your team. Three pointers should go in 95% of the time.

Choose N. Howard fir your team. He is a free agent that is great three point shooter, especially from the center of the arc.

Easy win Rating: Pending  
Turn off fouling in the NBA rules section of the options menu. Use the intentional foul to make the other team drop the ball, pick it up, score, and repeat as needed.

Turn off fouls and goaltending then just keep blocking them and there will be no foul.

Set the difficulty to rookie then steal the ball and keep shooting three pointers.

Easy dunk Rating: Pending  
To do the Vince Carter dunk (under the legs) on a break away, control Stackhouse, Bryant, Carter, Macgrady, or any other good player. Hold R1 (Turbo) and go up for a dunk. You will make it most of the time.

When you have a good dribbler such as Allen Iverson, Vince Carter, and others, press Square to crossover a defender then hold the side you are crossing over from. Go to the goal for an easy dunk.

Free throw interference Rating: Pending  
When the visiting team has a free throw, press Square before the player shoots to have the crowd wave balloons.

Better crossovers Rating: Pending  
Throw the ball to your SG, SF, or PG and press Circle. Wait for the dribble to end and then press D -pad + Circle. If the lane is clear, lay it up or do a highlighting dunk.

Shooting excellent Rating: Pending  
Give the ball to a fine shooter such as Iverson, Bryant, Mcgrady, etc. When you are shooting count to two and release Square. It will most likely go in, but you have to be open or you will get capped.

Play as a Legends team in season mode Rating: Pending  
Go to season mode and edit the season. Take out any team and put in the Legends team.
