Easy Game Rating: 60%  
Open the PerfOptions.ini file in the Freelancer game directory using a text editor such as Notepad. Backup the file before you change it.

Now, go to the line that says "DIFFICULTY_SCALE = 1.00"

Change it to "DIFFICULTY_SCALE = 0.00"
