Unlock Helina In Versus Mode Rating: Pending  
To defeat Helina in an arena, first defeat the boss in the Scared Arena then head west and find Helina's Arena. Before you can fight her you must meet the following requirements:

Your character's Neutral Skill is 6 or more. Defeat all bosses in the first arena. Defeat the unknown man or Kendarie Knight blocking the exit.

Unlock Kendarie Warrior for Versus Mode Rating: Pending  
Beat the Kendarie Boss in the Kendarie Fortress (Area 1).

Finish the upper floor of the Royal Tower in single player mode.

Unlock Thalnos for Versus Mode Rating: Pending  
Defeat Leod and Helena in Scared Arena 2 after beating the game, then fight Thalnos in the far northern doorway.

Unlock Urbur Cultist for Versus Mode Rating: Pending  
Beat an Urbur Cultist, finish the level then save your game. Now on the versus mode screen the unlocked feature will be listed as "Unknown".
